OUR READING
What the specs
mean on court
On the numbers, the Alkemia Vento 2025 makes most sense for intermediate left-side players, players with elbow or arm trouble, beginners, intermediate right-side players, intermediate all-rounders and advanced attackers.
A teardrop head is the middle ground: a little more reach and power than a round frame, a bigger sweet spot than a diamond. The softer core holds the ball longer and gives easy depth at slow swing speeds, at the cost of some precision on hard hits.
The published specs of the Alkemia Vento 2024 are the same as this one. The change is cosmetic, so last season's model at a discount is the value buy.
These scores assume the answers of a typical player of each type. The free racket finder scores it for your own answers, and the Padel AI app goes further: film one match and it scores your real technique, then re-ranks all 1,418 rackets for the way you actually play.
