OUR PICKS
Every pick has a euro RRP of €100 or less in the catalogue. UK street prices are usually lower, so most of these sell well under £85.
A soft teardrop, fibreglass frame and face, 355 to 365 g, medium balance, €100. Rated 7.9 with an 8.4 sweet spot and 9.0 rebound: the most forgiving teardrop on this list.
TEARDROPA rare soft-core diamond at €100, rated 8.0. Power 7.0, control 8.0, rebound 9.5. The soft core takes the sting out of the diamond shape, but the sweet spot still sits high on the face.
DIAMONDRound, SoftEVA core, Polyglass face, low balance, 360 to 370 g, €79. Rated 7.1 with control 7.5. The 2026 version costs €90 and rates 7.0, so the 2025 is the better buy.
ROUNDThe Indiga at 350 to 360 g, same SoftEVA core and low balance, €79. Rated 7.2, the higher of the two Indigas, with control 7.6 and rebound 8.4. Fine for any player who wants less weight.
ROUNDA 100% carbon frame and a fibreglass and carbon face over Power FOAM, a fixed 360 g, low-medium balance, €90. Rated 6.9 with control 7.1. One of only two current rackets under €100 that list a 100% carbon frame.

READ THIS FIRST
Every price on this page is the brand's recommended retail price in euros, taken from the catalogue. €100 is roughly £85. UK shops rarely charge the full RRP, so a racket listed at €100 often sells for less than £85, and last season's stock for less again.
A UK shopper with £100 to spend can reach past this list, to about €115 RRP before any discount. If that is your budget, read our cheap padel rackets guide too. It covers value picks up to €150, where the ratings climb fastest. This page stays strict: nothing here lists above €100.
Of the 630 rackets in the catalogue from the 2024 season onwards, 47 list at €100 or less. They average a 6.4 rating and a 6.2 sweet spot. Every one has a fibreglass or Polyglass face, and only two list a 100% carbon frame. More than half are round: 27 of the 47, against 13 diamonds and 7 teardrops.
That profile suits a beginner or a relaxed weekly player. Fibreglass flexes, forgives off-centre contact and is gentle on the elbow. What you do not get is the stiffness and the larger sweet spot of a €150 racket. Rackets from €100 to €150 average 7.5, a full point above the sub-€100 group. If you play twice a week and plan to keep improving, that point is worth saving for.
The two highest-rated current rackets under €100 are both Joma, and one is a diamond. A diamond puts the sweet spot near the tip and the weight in the head, which is right for a smash from the left side and wrong for a first season of volleys. The Slam Soft's soft core makes it kinder than most, but if you are new, take the Tournament Soft or a round Indiga. Our beginner racket guide explains shape, core and balance in plain words.
The catalogue lists fourteen 2023 Kombat rackets at €89 to €99 RRP, rated 7.7 to 8.2. The best of them rate higher than any current racket under €100. All fourteen have a 100% carbon frame, most have carbon faces, and four have medium-hard cores. They are two seasons old, so stock is thin. If you find one new at the old price, it is the best padel racket under 100 you can buy. If you find one used, tap the face for dead spots before you pay.
Only four rackets in the catalogue list at €50 or less, and all four are 2022 models: the Puma Solar Court at €50 (rated 6.9), the Drop Shot Tiger 2.0 at €44.99 (6.4), the Babolat Reveal at €44.95 (5.7) and the Babolat Contact at €42.58 (5.6). No current-season racket from a real brand lists that low. The cheapest 2025 or 2026 racket is the Nox X-Hero at €64.99.
So a new padel racket under £50 is either old stock, a clearance deal on a racket that lists higher, or an unbranded racket with no spec sheet. Take the first two. Skip the third: with no weight, balance, core or face stated, you cannot know what you bought. A used Indiga or X-Hero is the better answer at that budget. The Bullpadel and Nox pages list their entry lines season by season.
With a small budget, the fit matters more, because you will keep the racket longer. The free AI racket finder above ranks every racket under your budget. In the app, it starts from a filmed match: padel video analysis scores your real technique, so the shortlist matches how you actually play.
HOW TO CHOOSE
At this price every racket has a forgiving face. Shape, weight and balance separate the good buy from the wrong one.
Round if this is your first or second season. Teardrop if you volley well and want more from the back. Diamond only if you already finish points from the left side.
Almost every current racket under €100 sits between 345 and 375 g. Under 360 g suits a lighter player or a sore shoulder. A wide range, like 350 to 385 g, means you should weigh the one you buy.
A low balance keeps the mass near your hand, so the racket is quick at the net and the arm tires later. A high balance, as on the Bullpadel K2 Power, adds power and costs control.
The Indiga CTR 2025 lists €11 below the 2026 and rates higher on the same materials. Compare core and face, and if they match, take the older year.
