Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PadelAI mobile application ("App") operated by PadelAI ("we", "our", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

PadelAI is an AI-powered padel coaching application that provides:

  • AI Video Analysis: Upload match footage to receive technique scores across 6 categories (Bandeja, Vibora, Smash, Volley, Wall Play, Serve & Return) on the Playtomic 1.0–7.0 scale
  • Training Library: Curated exercises and drills tailored to your skill level
  • Score Tracking: Historical tracking of your technique scores and progress
  • Americano Tournaments: Tools for organizing and managing padel tournaments

2. Subscriptions and Credits

2.1 Credit System

Video analysis requires credits. Each video analysis consumes 1 credit (referred to as "Scan Credits" or "SCN" within the App). Credits are obtained through subscription plans or individual purchases.

2.2 Subscription Plans

We offer the following subscription plans:

  • Weekly Plan: Provides 7 analysis credits per week
  • Annual Plan: Provides approximately 100 analysis credits per year

Additional credit packs may be available for individual purchase within the App.

2.3 Billing and Renewal

Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.

2.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings or the App Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods. Unused credits from a subscription period do not roll over.

3. Invite a Friend Programme

The App may offer an invite programme that lets you share a personal invite link or invite code and earn rewards when other people join. Participation is optional and free. These rules apply in addition to the rest of these Terms.

3.1 Who can take part

The programme is open to individual users of the App who are at least 18 years old. It is not open to businesses, media buyers, or anyone running paid advertising for PadelAI. Commercial partners are covered by a separate written agreement, not by this section.

3.2 Rewards for a friend joining

You earn 1 Scan Credit for each qualifying friend. A friend qualifies when all of the following are true:

  • They install the App and create a new account. An existing user who reinstalls the App does not qualify.
  • Your invite code is attached to that account, either by opening your invite link or by entering your code in the App.
  • They are a different person using a different account from yours.

Each friend can earn a reward for one person only, and only once. You may earn a maximum of 100 Scan Credits in total from friends joining, across the lifetime of your account. Friends who join after that limit still count towards your friend total but do not grant further credits.

Scan Credits earned this way have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and are subject to the same rules as any other credit in section 2.

3.3 Cash rewards when a friend subscribes

If a qualifying friend makes their first paid subscription purchase, you earn a cash reward equal to 35% of the net proceeds of that purchase, capped at USD 5.00 per friend.

"Net proceeds" means the price paid by your friend, less estimated sales tax or VAT, less the commission charged by Apple or Google. Amounts are calculated in US dollars using the values reported to us by our payment processor. Because tax and store commission vary by country, the reward for the same plan can differ between friends.

Only the first payment of each friend earns a reward. Renewals, plan changes, credit-pack purchases and any later payment earn nothing. If a purchase is refunded, charged back, or cancelled during a trial or refund window, we may reverse the matching reward.

3.4 Your balance, and how to take it out

Cash rewards accumulate in an invite balance shown in the App. There are two ways to take it out, and you choose:

  • Scan Credits. You may convert whole dollars of your balance into Scan Credits at a rate of USD 1.00 for 1 Scan Credit. There is no minimum and the credits are granted immediately. Any part-dollar remainder stays on your balance.
  • Cash payment. Once your available balance reaches USD 50.00, you may submit a payout request in the App. You must give us a valid email address, a WhatsApp number and complete bank details. We review each request by hand. We do not guarantee a payment date.

A submitted payout request reserves the whole of your available balance until we approve or decline it. If we decline a request, the amount returns to your balance. You are responsible for the accuracy of the payment details you give us, and for any tax due on rewards you receive in your country of residence. Bank charges and currency conversion costs may be deducted by the banks involved.

3.5 What is not allowed

The following void any affected reward and may result in your invite balance being cancelled and your account being closed:

  • Referring yourself, including by using a second device, a second account, or another person acting on your behalf.
  • Creating accounts that do not belong to real, distinct people.
  • Buying, selling or trading invite codes, or listing them on coupon, cashback or deal websites.
  • Paid advertising, search-engine bidding on our brand names, spam, or any unsolicited bulk messaging.
  • Presenting yourself as PadelAI, or making claims about the App that we have not made.
  • Any attempt to manipulate the reward calculation.

We may withhold a reward while we investigate, and our determination of whether a referral is genuine is final.

3.6 Changes to the programme

We may change the reward amounts, the caps, the payout minimum or the rules of this programme, and we may suspend or end it, at any time. Where we can, we will give notice in the App. Rewards already earned and shown in your balance at the time of a change will be honoured under the rules that applied when they were earned. Ending the programme does not affect Scan Credits already granted to you.

3.7 Not an Apple programme

This programme is operated by PadelAI alone. Apple and Google are not sponsors of it and are not involved in it in any way.

4. AI Analysis Disclaimer

Important: The AI-powered video analysis is provided for informational and educational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, the analysis is generated by artificial intelligence and may contain errors or inaccuracies. Specifically:

  • Technique scores are AI-generated estimates and should not be treated as definitive assessments
  • Analysis quality depends on video quality, camera angle, lighting, and other factors
  • AI recommendations do not replace professional coaching or medical advice
  • Scores may vary between analyses of the same footage due to the nature of AI processing

We recommend using PadelAI as a supplementary tool alongside professional instruction.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for its intended purposes. You shall not:

  • Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or violates any third party's rights
  • Upload videos of individuals without their knowledge or consent
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App to develop competing products or services
  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent the credit system or subscription requirements
  • Use automated systems or bots to interact with the App
  • Share or resell your account credentials or credits

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, code, and content, is owned by PadelAI and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any videos you upload. By uploading videos for analysis, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process the video through our AI system solely for the purpose of providing the analysis service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim

8. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any part of it at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
