OUR READING
What the specs
mean on court
On the numbers, the Alkemia Ignis 2025 makes most sense for intermediate left-side players, advanced attackers and intermediate right-side players.
A teardrop head is the middle ground: a little more reach and power than a round frame, a bigger sweet spot than a diamond. The medium core is a compromise between comfort and a crisp response.
Against the Alkemia Ignis 2024, the published specs changed in one place:
- Face: Double layer medium hardness carbon fiber in 2024, Double layer of medium-hardness carbon fiber in 2025.
If the older Alkemia Ignis 2024 is on sale, it is usually the better value: most season changes are cosmetic or small.
These scores assume the answers of a typical player of each type. The free racket finder scores it for your own answers, and the Padel AI app goes further: film one match and it scores your real technique, then re-ranks all 1,418 rackets for the way you actually play.

Alkemia Ignis 2025
Is the Alkemia Ignis 2025 good for beginners?
It scores 74 out of 98 for a beginner in our match engine, which is workable, ranking #207 of 862 eligible rackets. A rounder, softer racket will forgive more while your timing develops.
Is the Alkemia Ignis 2025 a power or a control racket?
It plays as an all-round racket. The teardrop shape and medium to high balance sit between round and diamond, trading a little forgiveness for some extra power.
How heavy is the Alkemia Ignis 2025?
