OUR READING
What the specs
mean on court
On the numbers, the Bullpadel Ionic Light 2025 makes most sense for beginners, players with elbow or arm trouble, intermediate all-rounders and intermediate right-side players. It is a weaker choice for intermediate left-side players and advanced attackers.
A round head keeps the sweet spot big and central. Mishits stay in play, and placement is easy; you supply the power on the smash yourself. The softer core holds the ball longer and gives easy depth at slow swing speeds, at the cost of some precision on hard hits.
Against the Bullpadel Ionic Light 2024, the published specs changed in one place:
- Face: Graphite in 2024, Glaphite in 2025.
If the older Bullpadel Ionic Light 2024 is on sale, it is usually the better value: most season changes are cosmetic or small.
These scores assume the answers of a typical player of each type. The free racket finder scores it for your own answers, and the Padel AI app goes further: film one match and it scores your real technique, then re-ranks all 1,418 rackets for the way you actually play.
