OUR READING
What the specs
mean on court
On the numbers, the Adidas Metalbone 2026 - Ale Galan makes most sense for intermediate left-side players and advanced attackers. It is a weaker choice for beginners, intermediate all-rounders and intermediate right-side players.
A diamond head moves mass towards the tip. The smash and the vibora get easier; defending low balls and volleying off centre get harder. The medium core is a compromise between comfort and a crisp response.
These scores assume the answers of a typical player of each type. It plays as a power racket. The diamond shape and high balance put the sweet spot high on the face, which adds power on the smash.
How heavy is the Adidas Metalbone 2026 - Ale Galan?
The manufacturer lists it at 345 to 360 g. Most padel rackets sit between 350 and 375 g; this one is on the light side, quick at the net and easier on the arm.
