OUR READING
What the specs
mean on court
On the numbers, the Star Vie Drax Soft 2025 makes most sense for intermediate left-side players, players with elbow or arm trouble, intermediate right-side players, intermediate all-rounders and advanced attackers.
A teardrop head is the middle ground: a little more reach and power than a round frame, a bigger sweet spot than a diamond. The softer core holds the ball longer and gives easy depth at slow swing speeds, at the cost of some precision on hard hits.
