OUR READING
What the specs
mean on court
On the numbers, the Head Coello Motion 2026 is a niche pick: it is not in the top fifth of rackets for any of our six player types. It is a weaker choice for beginners, intermediate all-rounders, intermediate right-side players and players with elbow or arm trouble.
A diamond head moves mass towards the tip. The smash and the vibora get easier; defending low balls and volleying off centre get harder. The harder core rewards a fast, clean swing with pace and precision, and punishes late contact.
The published specs of the Head Coello Motion 2025 are the same as this one. The change is cosmetic, so last season's model at a discount is the value buy.
These scores assume the answers of a typical player of each type. The free racket finder scores it for your own answers, and the Padel AI app goes further: film one match and it scores your real technique, then re-ranks all 1,418 rackets for the way you actually play. FAQ
Questions about the
Head Coello Motion 2026
Is the Head Coello Motion 2026 good for beginners?
No. Its diamond shape rules it out for a first racket in our engine. A round, soft racket forgives far more while your timing develops; see our beginner racket guide.
Is the Head Coello Motion 2026 a power or a control racket?
It plays as a power racket. The diamond shape and high balance put the sweet spot high on the face, which adds power on the smash.
How heavy is the Head Coello Motion 2026?
The manufacturer lists it at 360 g. Most padel rackets sit between 350 and 375 g; this one is in the middle of that range.
Is the Head Coello Motion 2026 good for tennis elbow?
For a player with arm trouble it scores 61 out of 98, poor fit. A softer core would absorb more of the impact. See a physio if the pain persists.
How much does the Head Coello Motion 2026 cost?
The recommended retail price is €350. UK shops usually sell below RRP, and the price drops further once the next season's model arrives.
