Price is the euro RRP; UK street prices are usually lower. | Spec | Oxdog Ultimate Pro Plus 2025 | | --- | --- | | Shape | Diamond | | Weight | 370 g | | Balance | High | | Core | Hard EVA | | Feel | Hard | | Face | HES Carbon | | Frame | Carbon fiber | | Playing style | Power | | Season | 2025 | | RRP | €329 (pro band) | ## What the specs mean on court On the numbers, the Oxdog Ultimate Pro Plus 2025 makes most sense for advanced attackers. It is a weaker choice for beginners, intermediate all-rounders, intermediate left-side players, intermediate right-side players and players with elbow or arm trouble. A diamond head moves mass towards the tip. The smash and the vibora get easier; defending low balls and volleying off centre get harder. The harder core rewards a fast, clean swing with pace and precision, and punishes late contact. Against the Oxdog Ultimate Pro Plus 2024, the published specs changed in 2 places: - **Core:** EVA Hard in 2024, Hard EVA in 2025. - **RRP:** €330 in 2024, €329 in 2025. If the older Oxdog Ultimate Pro Plus 2024 is on sale, it is usually the better value: most season changes are cosmetic or small. These scores assume the answers of a typical player of each type. No. Its diamond shape rules it out for a first racket in our engine. A round, soft racket forgives far more while your timing develops; see our [beginner racket guide](https://padelaiapp.com/rackets/best-padel-racket-for-beginners). ### Is the Oxdog Ultimate Pro Plus 2025 a power or a control racket? It plays as a power racket. The diamond shape and high balance put the sweet spot high on the face, which adds power on the smash. ### How heavy is the Oxdog Ultimate Pro Plus 2025? The manufacturer lists it at 370 g. Most padel rackets sit between 350 and 375 g; this one is on the heavy side, stable on defence and powerful, but slower at the net. ### Is the Oxdog Ultimate Pro Plus 2025 good for tennis elbow? We do not recommend it with elbow trouble: the hard core transmits more shock. See our guide to the [best padel rackets for tennis elbow](https://padelaiapp.com/rackets/best-padel-racket-for-tennis-elbow), and see a physio if it hurts. ### How much does the Oxdog Ultimate Pro Plus 2025 cost? The recommended retail price is €329. UK shops usually sell below RRP, and the price drops further once the next season's model arrives.
