## What the specs mean on court

On the numbers, the Head Speed Pro 2025 makes most sense for intermediate left-side players and advanced attackers. It is a weaker choice for beginners and players with elbow or arm trouble.

A teardrop head is the middle ground: a little more reach and power than a round frame, a bigger sweet spot than a diamond. The medium core is a compromise between comfort and a crisp response.

These scores assume the answers of a typical player of each type. ## Questions about the Head Speed Pro 2025

### Is the Head Speed Pro 2025 good for beginners?

No. Its too heavy rules it out for a first racket in our engine. A round, soft racket forgives far more while your timing develops; see our [beginner racket guide](https://padelaiapp.com/rackets/best-padel-racket-for-beginners).

### Is the Head Speed Pro 2025 a power or a control racket?

It plays as an all-round racket. The teardrop shape and medium to high balance sit between round and diamond, trading a little forgiveness for some extra power.

### How heavy is the Head Speed Pro 2025?

The manufacturer lists it at 370 g. Most padel rackets sit between 350 and 375 g; this one is on the heavy side, stable on defence and powerful, but slower at the net.

### Is the Head Speed Pro 2025 good for tennis elbow?

For a player with arm trouble it scores 72 out of 98, poor fit. A softer core would absorb more of the impact. See a physio if the pain persists.

### How much does the Head Speed Pro 2025 cost?

The recommended retail price is €280. UK shops usually sell below RRP, and the price drops further once the next season's model arrives.
