## What the specs mean on court

On the numbers, the Head Coello Pro 2025 is a niche pick: it is not in the top fifth of rackets for any of our six player types. It is a weaker choice for beginners, intermediate all-rounders, intermediate left-side players, intermediate right-side players and players with elbow or arm trouble.

A diamond head moves mass towards the tip. The smash and the vibora get easier; defending low balls and volleying off centre get harder. The harder core rewards a fast, clean swing with pace and precision, and punishes late contact.

There is a newer version, the [Head Coello Pro 2026](https://padelaiapp.com/rackets/head/coello-pro-2026). This 2025 model is often the value buy once the new season arrives.

These scores assume the answers of a typical player of each type. The [free racket finder](https://padelaiapp.com/features/padel-racket-finder#finder) scores it for your own answers, and the Padel AI app goes further: film one match and it scores your real technique, then re-ranks all 1,418 rackets for the way you actually play. ## Questions about the Head Coello Pro 2025

### Is the Head Coello Pro 2025 good for beginners?

No. Its diamond shape rules it out for a first racket in our engine. A round, soft racket forgives far more while your timing develops; see our [beginner racket guide](https://padelaiapp.com/rackets/best-padel-racket-for-beginners).

### Is the Head Coello Pro 2025 a power or a control racket?

It plays as a power racket. The diamond shape and high balance put the sweet spot high on the face, which adds power on the smash.

### How heavy is the Head Coello Pro 2025?

The manufacturer lists it at 370 g. Most padel rackets sit between 350 and 375 g; this one is on the heavy side, stable on defence and powerful, but slower at the net.

### Is the Head Coello Pro 2025 good for tennis elbow?

We do not recommend it with elbow trouble: the hard core transmits more shock. See our guide to the [best padel rackets for tennis elbow](https://padelaiapp.com/rackets/best-padel-racket-for-tennis-elbow), and see a physio if it hurts.

### How much does the Head Coello Pro 2025 cost?

The recommended retail price is €350. UK shops usually sell below RRP, and the price drops further once the next season's model arrives.
