## What the specs mean on court

On the numbers, the Alkemia Terra 2026 makes most sense for intermediate right-side players. It is a weaker choice for intermediate all-rounders and players with elbow or arm trouble.

A round head keeps the sweet spot big and central. Mishits stay in play, and placement is easy; you supply the power on the smash yourself. The harder core rewards a fast, clean swing with pace and precision, and punishes late contact.

Against the [Alkemia Terra 2025](https://padelaiapp.com/rackets/alkemia/terra-2025), the published specs changed in 3 places:

- **Core:** Black EVA Pro React in 2025, Black EVA PRO React in 2026.
- **Face:** Triple layer 3K carbon fiber in 2025, Triple-layer 3K carbon fiber in 2026.
- **RRP:** €249 in 2025, €250 in 2026.

If the older Alkemia Terra 2025 is on sale, it is usually the better value: most season changes are cosmetic or small.

These scores assume the answers of a typical player of each type. ### Is the Alkemia Terra 2026 good for beginners?

It scores 72 out of 98 for a beginner in our match engine, which is workable, ranking #308 of 862 eligible rackets. A rounder, softer racket will forgive more while your timing develops.

### Is the Alkemia Terra 2026 a power or a control racket?

It plays as a control racket. The round shape and medium balance keep the sweet spot low and central, which favours control and forgiveness.

### How heavy is the Alkemia Terra 2026?

The manufacturer lists it at 350 to 370 g. Most padel rackets sit between 350 and 375 g; this one is in the middle of that range.
