## What the specs mean on court

On the numbers, the Alkemia Ignis 2026 makes most sense for intermediate left-side players, advanced attackers, beginners and intermediate right-side players.

A teardrop head is the middle ground: a little more reach and power than a round frame, a bigger sweet spot than a diamond. The medium core is a compromise between comfort and a crisp response.

Against the [Alkemia Ignis 2025](https://padelaiapp.com/rackets/alkemia/ignis-2025), the published specs changed in 2 places:

- **Weight:** 345 to 375 g in 2025, 350 to 360 g in 2026.
- **Face:** Double layer of medium-hardness carbon fiber in 2025, Double layer of 3K carbon fiber, medium hardness in 2026.

If the older Alkemia Ignis 2025 is on sale, it is usually the better value: most season changes are cosmetic or small.
